Your chance to help shape the future of maternity services in Worcestershire

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Local Maternity System is looking for a Chair of the Worcestershire Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP).

Worcestershire Maternity Voices Partnership is a chance for those who are passionate about improving local maternity services to help influence the way these services are delivered in the future.

If you’re a mum, dad, parent-to-be or anyone with a recent experience of becoming a family, then this role could be perfect for you.

 

Fay Baillie, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Local Maternity System lead, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to really get involved and influence the future direction of our maternity services.”

The Worcestershire Maternity Voices Partnership is an independent team of women, their families, commissioners, providers and other support services that come together to share ideas and experiences to help improve maternity care in the county.

The role of Chair includes managing the Maternity Voices Partnership committee, representing the MVP at local maternity meetings, managing the MVP social media pages and answering email enquiries.

The role will take up approximately two days per month which can be scheduled to fit around you and any commitments you may have. Child Care costs and all travel expenses will be covered.
